SOUTH POLE SKI EXPEDITION: ITINERARY


January 2014

Day 1  Leave home.

Day 2 Arrive Punta Arenas, Chile.

Day 3 Check equipment and pack for the flight to Antarctica.

Day 4  Fly to Patriot Hills, Antarctica.  80 South.

Day 5  Shake-down trial with skis and sleds. Final equipment adjustments.

Days 6-16  Ski to the South Pole, and return to Patriot Hills.

Day 18 Return flight to Punta Arenas, Chile.

Day 18 or 19  Return flights home.

NOTE:  There is a good chance of delays due to weather at any point during this expedition.  It is required that you allow atleast 3 weeks for this expediton, and it’s recommended that you have 4 weeks available.
