TURKEY DESCRIPTION

CRUISING TURKEY’S TURQUOISE COAST     August 31st – September 13th, 2008

The Mediterranean coast of Turkey is an antique land of gentle beauty and forgotten civilizations.   Known as the Turquoise Coast for it’s limpid waters, we will drink deeply of its appeal and its tranquility.   Cruising in our private ‘gulet’, a  motor-powered sailing yacht, we will anchor in quiet coves and have optional hikes to ancient Greek, Roman and Lycian ruins, stroll deserted beaches, and visit quaint villages.  Sailing along the coast on our own schedule, there will be ample time to swim, snorkel, and  explore.  Each double cabin has it’s own private bath.    We will be accompanied by Vedat Karadag, our long-time Turkish friend and guide, plus a full sailing crew and an onboard chef who will prepare a host of Turkish delights.
